Podi Boost gauge and Pod installed! B6 Passat

Just installed my Podi boost gauge with the Podi pod and it looks great and works even better.

Im coming from a new south gauge and pod and the podi set up is much much better design and it works much smoother

the pod completely replaces the top of the steering column u pop off the OEM one then just pop on the Podi one. all the above problems don't happen with the new pod. the gauge area is about an inch or so deep bc the Podi stepper motor gauge is digital

the gauge is a stepper motor gauge, very narrow, wiring is a little more complex compared to the new south there's a boost line to a sending unit, then a ground, sending wire

problems with the new south gauge/pod the pod is thin abs tht is double sided taped to the top of the existing steering column cover, the front edge can get snagged on the steering wheel and actually pop off the pod. ( i sanded down the face on my new south pod) the pod location is about 3+in. deep to fit the mechanical boost gauge and this can effect how far you can push in ur steering wheel. it also creaks and makes all kinds of noise if the steering wheel rubs on the pod. the gauge can also rattle a little bc of the spring inside of it.
