Arbenator - B5 RS4 Conversion

Started life as a 1999 Audi A4 pre-facelift 1.8t Avant, the Coma brothers, Agron and Arben, set ahead to do something different with the car. Arben purchased a full OEM Audi RS4 widebody kit from a forum member and friend of Audizine. He used the motor, transmission and turbos of his brother’s Audi S4 and the rest of the interior and full harness (bumper to bumper) from a crashed parts car. The brothers decided on orange as it hasn’t been done on a WB B5 Avant (except for Carl Taylor’s). As it turned out, they came out with the same color as Carl’s famous Avant around the same time with not even knowing each other.

They trusted a body shop to do the work but the paint was not up to par with their expections. Right before SoWo 2012, the Comas had it fixed by another body shop. The car was built ground up from an A4 to an S4 drivetrain and interior. The exterior of an RS4. The work described here was just a quick summary of what has been done. The Avant is truly a head turner. Here are a few pictures we’ve taken at SOWO 2012. We also managed to put together a short video. Unfortunately this coverage  does not bring justice to the awesomeness of the car. It has to be seen in person to appreciate it.

frederico, k04 is an okay size and is popular because it can go in without (relatively) too much modification
